This historical tapestry is woven based on the work of a skilled artist in the late-fourteenth to early-fifteenth century for Charles VII (1403-1461), King of France from 1422 to 1461. The original is now housed at the Museum of Antiquities in Rouen in northern France.

The Winged Stags Tapestry hanging in Rouen, France, is a large piece of wool and silk (3.47 m x 3.80 m ). Depicting three noble stags with beautiful wings and two cowardly lions, it was meant to represent the victories of the King of France, Charles VII, at the end of the Hundred Years War, from England after the battles of Formigny and Castillon.

The tapestry is used to decorate the walls of residences to warm the interiors and make them more luxurious. This historical tapestry will add a dramatic and elegant ambiance to any room.
