This Early 19th-century French Renaissance Buffet is a spectacular version of a fine cabinetry technique from the 1800s. The front facade is a detailed work of art. Perusing each area individually really shows off the craftsmanship. Horses, Lions, and Cherubs in full relief adorn the upper section. Stylized flowers cover panels in the centre of the doors. Scalloped edges at the bottom of the cabinet complete the masterful carving.
As beautiful as it is practical, upper drawers and two internal shelves make this a useful and spacious storage unit as well as a unique piece of history.
